Lush morning for ferreting. The little dog did her bit and one of the new ferrets from this years litter proved useful. My netting left a lot to be desired though. 3 got away. Still, one for the ferrets, one for the dog, one for the slow cooker and one for the freezer

Looks nice spot l, keep at em mate an either learn to put nets down properly or don’t bother?pet hate a mine is a badly set net I’d rather just watch them Bolt an get away than watch a net fail????

Nobody to blame but myself haha got too excited wanting to put the ferrets in. Rookie mistake!

Yes mate, she's still learning but has came on leaps and bounds. Marks holes well and doesn't get as bored as she used to. Stays close by now and waits for the bolting

Definitely mate, the lad i go withs daughter brought a jack russell staffy cross pup home in a daft pink coat. Its turned into an outstanding worker which my littlen follows round and seems to learn well from. He lost his lurcher a few months back when she went over on a hill so our little team has taken a hit of late

My little doe has finally had her kits around a week ago their mum is a great little hunter but also a great pet  she is proud of them and i have been close to them but still keeping a distance from them at this stage  hopefully if i can get 3 to 4 bucks for new stock I will be happy with that . My question is I have in the past put my young ones to work with their mum at around 6 months old is that a bit to early. Second of all I will keep one of her daughters for breading as milly is getting old  . With the older ones I will pass them on as pets as that are friendly when handheld but do hunt when they out to work . c
