Owning a .20 for a good few years now, like you say on paper it looks a good choice, but in reality it actually acts more like a twenty two to be honest, unless it’s being pushed at some high FPS. Other than stated about the pellet choice, its no better or worse than the others as a calibre, it’s just an option, I suppose, for those that know the other two calibers well and fancy something different.

not knocking it as i had a daystate in .20 but  if you really want that sort of trajectory by a .177 and put heavy pellets in it.easier caliber to pick up and pass on than the limited .20 that is only wanted by a few in comparison

At the end of the day all cals will do the same , you just need to know your set up , gun , scope pellet and more important what the shooter is capable of

 the shoulder behind the gun is more important  than calibre  choice . Hit your quarry in the right spot and .20 1.77 .22 .25 will do same job ..25 might leave a bit more mess though lol .Pav has a .20 cal rapid and it does the job
