Antler lamp

Recommended Posts

Had a few hours spare Saturday and Sunday and had some antlers and driftwood in the shed, and had seen a few faux antler lamps in the likes of dunelm and other places so decided to have a crack at one myself using all natural materials.... hmmm not as easy as you'd think to getting antlers to sit what with weights being imbalanced and what not..so after a bit of swearing and super glued hands this is the finished article...

Very nice and not so garish as ginger beards? If your planning on making more may I suggest you get a hot glue gun much better for tacking things in place than super glue and your fingers will look better afterwards ??

Done another lamp just before Christmas for an aunt of mine as a Christmas present... any tree knowledgeable men on here know if the ring will split when dried out completely??

I,be done a few clocks from log biscuits and it’s 50/50 if they split, a good trick if it does is to use a coloured two pack epoxy to fill the cracks
