Correct. Of those nine countries some receive more back in trade within the EU than they  put in.  When they hand the dosh over to Brussels and Brussels then divvies it out to the poorer EU count

If you want to see hatred look at the political left. From antifa to momentum to unite against hate.  We arnt full of hate we are just pissed off.  Being against giving power to the eu isn't

What the latest news has demonstrated is that May's policy of appeasement to the EU was similar to Chamberlain's appeasement towards Hitler in the 1930's. By standing up to the EU and removing any hop

So what? None of that means that we should take your problem off of your hands.

Your analogies mean nothing to me - they're a French problem and, that's exactly how it should stay as far as I'm concerned.

.......... If you don't like it, round them up and f**k them off to the first safe country that they landed in or, deport them back to their point of origin - refugees Vs economic migrants.

But the UK doesn't return illegal immigrants because of the problems with trying to do that so how can the French?

Yes we do. Look it up.

Not in sufficient numbers to make a difference. Same with the French and other EU countries.

If you want to research the root of the problem I'd suggest that you look up the most popular destinations for these migrants then look up their welfare systems compared to the countries the migrants just pass through and you might realise where the problem lies. Viktor Orban refuses to waste money registering and housing his EU quota of immigrants because they don't want to stay in Hungary. They disappear north as soon as they have been registered in the EU. Same in Greece, Italy, Spain and France. France is a great place to live - if you have a job or other income. It doesn't provide the Nanny State welfare and health care to those who don't work like the UK does. It hasn't got a growing labour market and generous pension scheme like Germany has. It doesn't look after immigrants like Sweden has. Spain and Italy are the same.

Then look at the numbers who have arrived in the UK, Germany and Sweden illegally and compare that with the numbers successfully returned. Then you might realise that these refugees have come to the conclusion that once they manage to sneak into their chosen destination they have very little chance of being returned. And once safely registered they can, by law, bring family members over.

The British press and TV do not report the situation in Greece and Italy. But, the refugee situation has not been solved at that end and with summer coming there will be more making the journey to Europe. Italy and Greece can't keep them all and sooner rather than later they will simply open their borders and wish the tens or thousands of illegal immigrants goodbye as they head north to where they actually want to be. That is why Brexit needs sorting now. So that the UK can distance itself from EU policies and start to change the way the welfare system is accessed.

Remove the attraction and you solve the future problems. It is easier to stop a horse from bolting that stop a bolting horse. And all this talk of sending them back is way off mark. You can't send them back if they don't tell you where they are from. You can't send them back to places that are deemed to be dangerous under international law. You need to remove the reason they want to come to prevent more problems arriving.

Our benefits system and how we deal with people in this country doesn't matter - what we're talking about is how your mob try to deal with it by passing off the problem.

......... Your government should have stopped them on your southern border but they didn't - they thought they'd just let them mosey on through to the land of milk and honey - same as every other EU country did.

But, it backfired and, now you have a mess to deal with.

Here's some info on how the UK has dealt with some of them..............

Illegal immigrants is only the tip of the iceberg though isn’t it, tories promised to take immigration to below 100k when they first came into power but it’s still rising, with last year there being almost 300k LEGAL immigrants coming in. I’d be more inclined to worry about those than a handful making it across the channel in a dingy.

You just don't get it do you? When France dismantled the refugee camps they started climbing on lorries in Belgium. They are being smuggled over in boats to Scotland from northern Europe. Whatever the French, Belgiums, Dutch or any of the southern countries do it will not stop them coming. It will just change the route. The only way to stop them coming is to remove the cause. The UK cannot support an increasing number of benefits seekers so they need to bring the benefits and health systems into line with other European countries. Then they will stop trying to get to the UK.

No, it's you that doesn't get it - you've just shown yourself up to be a typical EU federalist.

......... Why should we bring anything in line with Europe? How's that working out for the likes of Greece, Italy, Spain etc?

We voted to leave and, we should be gone already.

You can't muddy the waters and try to deflect the problem by saying that it's our fault because the British work hard to put taxes into a system in attempt to look after them selves.

Infact, the skint money grabbing EU are a bigger threat to UK finances than the migrants.

The fact remains that third world migrants are crossing the Med', landing in Europe and, your lazy governments are doing virtually f**k all about it.

Yes it is, I agree but, that's a whole new conversation - I think we do need some immigration but, we need the right people.

We should take some genuine refugees but, not the piss takers.

......... The border force and immigration services need more funding so that they can do a proper job of it.

They don’t need funding they need a government with a fcuking backbone and their own people’s interests at heart.

There is no doubt the attraction of our welfare system brings people from all over the world like flies to shit....

I agree the whole system needs a proper shake up, the start in my mind was leaving the EU so we could implement systems to suit the British people without another unelected body to answer too...

Blaming the rest of Europe is a bit short sighted in my opinion, we have a very real border in the English Channel, but our governments have chosen to increase immigration year on year, with no real vetting procedure... said loads of times controlled immigration can be very good for the host country..our current policies are f****d up, and have a whole different agenda.... that's our countries fault (by that I mean our "leaders" (for want of a better word)...)
