There definitely IS something everyone can do and it’s completely legal and so easy it’s untrue....... At any election, every one who is able to vote trots off to the polling station and, using the pencil provided, they put an “X” in absolutely any box except a main party.......even if you hate the party you vote for, as long as it’s not Labour or Tory the jobs a good un. Yes, all the laws from parliament have to receive 'royal assent' (Queen's signature). The UK is a constitutional (governed according to a set of rules) monarchy, well at least it was until eu laws and courts were badly bodged into our constitution. Trouble is, it is convention that the Queen always signs the laws and she has made a career out of not rocking the boat. You could argue that the Queen would be doing her duty as monarch by standing up against the ending of the UK as a sovereign nation by further integration into the european federation, but don't hold your breath. 2 Quote Link to post Share on other sites
