May has restored the whip to the sex pest Andrew Griffiths (https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/politics/tory-mp-andrew-griffiths-lewd-12919733) who had the whip removed after being caught sending over 2,000 sexual text messages to two constituents. She must actually think it's close if she's that desperate for votes...

Correct. Of those nine countries some receive more back in trade within the EU than they  put in.  When they hand the dosh over to Brussels and Brussels then divvies it out to the poorer EU count

If you want to see hatred look at the political left. From antifa to momentum to unite against hate.  We arnt full of hate we are just pissed off.  Being against giving power to the eu isn't

What the latest news has demonstrated is that May's policy of appeasement to the EU was similar to Chamberlain's appeasement towards Hitler in the 1930's. By standing up to the EU and removing any hop

If a GE comes in the next couple of months then I cant see the torys having a chance , its not just about Brexit , theres a lot of people angry about austerity and the cut , rolling out UC on top of Christmas wasn't the tories wisest move

Charlie Elphicke has also had the whip restored, he was suspended from the party because he's currently under investigation by the police for alleged sexual offences committed against members of his staff.

There won't be a GE in the next few months !

Once the leadership is settled, Tories will rally round the leader (new or otherwise) and DUP, while opposing the backstop, have already said they won't bring the government down.

If a motion was tabled by any of the opposition parties, I can only see it failing. If the backbench Tories want rid of May, tonight is their last chance ! They might be wiling to bring down their own leader, but they won't allow the opposition to do it !

Honestly unless May (or the next leader is she loses the vote tonight) somehow manages to pull an amazing brexit rabbit out of the hat I don't think it really matters when the next GE is they're not going to win it regardless. In fact you could argue that the longer they cling on to power the bigger their defeat will be when the country finally goes to the polls...

You underestimate how much of a red line the backstop is to the DUP. If it isn't removed the government will not have their support anymore and if the bill passes with it intact they will see it as a major breach of their confidence & supply arrangement.

Labour were having backroom talks with them up to the point when the brexit bill vote was pulled and were feeling quite positive in the DUP joining them in both voting down the bill and voting no confidence in the government.

DUP said they wouldn't support May's deal, but WOULD support her in a confidence motion, but I guess the proviso is that the deal would have been voted down by that point ?

The DUP will be the saviour of brexit

All the swine have their snouts in the same trough len. Won’t be long till their climbing out of the tories bed and straight into labours the very party that most detest. You speak of the dup like they are some godly party when in reality they are the very same as the rest, just look at nama, red sky and The rhi scandal to see what the dup think they should be doing with the public’s money.

Well she did pull the rug from under David Davis and Dominic Raab when they started to play hard ball with them.

Having said that you can just imagine how much piss they will take out of us if go snivelling back.

Lets not forget those MP's that voted every thing down so they can engineer a no Brexit, the treacherous b*****ds.
