If you are buying one from ebay, take a close look at the detail because as Pledgey said, it MUST have 'TILT' or 'SWIVEL' and for the most part, they don't have. I have just given away a bipod because it did not have the tilt capability which was fine in the range on a bench but useless for field use. Spend a bit more and get one that WILL do what you NEED. The bipod will have 2 little pins that go into either side of the stud and, a part underneath that you screw tight with your fingers. si brown 8,486 Posted November 17, 2018 Report Share Posted November 17, 2018 It’s really easy to do, there are two or three screws on the stock to take off and it won’t affect the rifles mechanics. Pick where you want to fit the stud and pilot o hole with a hammer and nail... then it’s just drill straight through with a 4.5mm bit! take your time and it’ll be fine save yourself a few quid..
