Anyone from east Anglia?

I go target shooting, my closest range is nearly an hour away. Really quiet bunch of older guys just targeting the same old. I just want to get out there and do somthing more exciting. Hoping to find someone to learn from and who can show me a few things. I am very new to all this..I used to go shoot rabbits what I was younger..leaning out of a friends escort sunroof! Other than that, just target shooting really. I've always wanted to take it on as a hobby and now I have the time too but don't know anyone like minded.

Perhaps something like FT (field target) or HFT  (Hunter field target). I must say I have not done either but have watched HFT which is both interesting as well as being very social. These two also have a wide range of ages of the people taking part.

We have a development officer for rifle shooting in Lincolnshire. When I am back from holiday, I will ask if he knows of anyone doing this job in your region and let you know next week.

the shooting clubs directory is well worth a good search through to see if there are any HFT or FT clubs in this area.

another source of good info is a dealer who is very involved in air rifle shooting who again could guide you.

 

if I think of anything else, I will let you know otherwise I will do some digging for you when we get home.

There's a small bore arms club and range in my village as it goes not far from Diss as it goes and i'm married with 5 kids so i won;t be hassling you  just trying to help...
