Think this is a Panther Cap, DEADLY poisonous. There is a similar edible one called the Blusher. I don't take the chance.

Winter Chanterelle or Yellow Leg edible excellent. should be about now and if you find one you should have hundreds.

Cep or Penny Bun edible excellent.

Beef Steak edible a bit bitter.

Porcelain Fungus edible, never eaten one yet as they have slime dripping off them and you have to wash it off.

some belters there folks. I See there is an app where you can take a photo and all the information comes straight up, name, edible or not, be ideal for foragers etc

Out today for a mooch around. White frost this morning but still found a feed of field mushrooms.

Also growing were a lot of these and I'm not sure. I'm thinking one of the Lepiota fungi. didn't go in the basket anyway. Any body got any thought on them?

Think this is the "Grey Milk Cap" just scratch the gills and white fluid seeps out.
