Lightforce question

Hi all just a quick question help would be greatly appreciated. Looking to buy a new lightforce head that comes with dimmable switch. Does the lightforce sl170 come dimmable?? And also if ye know of any other models that I could check out would be great. Thanks all

I found the lightforce 170 dimmer I was fumbling with dimmer switch but tracer 170 was a much easier and quicker switch to use.

Cheers for that my brother has the lightforce 170 (as far as I know it's a 170) and yeah I've noticed that while using the dim it can be a nuicanse. Must look up the tracer thanks

Tracer 210 variable. Best lamp I have used. 

Have light force 170 and 240 both good lamps but much prefer my 210 variable. 

Had a 170 dimmer that burst into flames while in use. Can still smell it now haha

I’ve got the same lamp, much better than any 170 for me depending on what you need. I started to take a smaller handheld lamp when I went out closer to home at the start of the season but I soon went back to the 240

Personally i would stay away from the newer enforcer lamps the lead connection doesn’t  last a hrd months lamping even though a couple of seasons

Did anybody invent an led with dimmer yet or can it be done. There was a guy on here offering 3 different settings but none with volume control similar to a radio. I've 22amp tracer lithium battery 2 years and still haven't been able to wear it out in one night .

Same as that. Stick to halogen ( old school) but I have to admit I like the little light lithium battery's. I don't miss the days when lead car battery acid was running down your back burning holes in your T shirt and god forbid what types of cancers that could cause in years to come. Young and dumb.

I would stick to halgen aswell mate, but honestly between me and my close mates who do a fair amount of lamping a season we have all had trouble with the enforcers the old ligtforce were so much more reliable

Thanks for the opinions lads. Im on way to look at a 210 variable tracer. I must admit the enforcer looks very appealing. Looks like a serious piece of kit but I'm not going down that road of loose connections nothing worse ha
