New gun needed!

Recommended Posts

The IMP has been sold and collected today as promised.

Now I am gunless and in the market for its replacement. My heart wants the HW100kt my head and budget leans towards R10 or ultra. I have decided on the .177 flavour this time.

PM me if there is anything available that fits the bill

An imp? ? Sold a bit of gold their mukka.

Wish id of seen that imp of yours earlier.. would of drove up as soon as and picked the sod up.

I know I will regret it, I always do when I sell a gun! But I've got a lot of other things to spend my money on and the misus doesn't take the piss so I don't either. I went through a spell of buying and enxed up with 5 air rifles, 4 of which I never used. Nowadays when I want a new gun I sell the one I've got.

By the way have they stopped making the IMP? They seem to have been creeping up in value. Has Tony left SFS?

For the price of a r10 you can get a hw100 all day long

the only thing that lets the ultra down is the shot count

iv just sold my hw100ks for £500 and sold the A&M custom air cylinder for £130

and it was a full set up

rifle

scope

pod

mod

bag

so if you look there are some bargains out there .

go with your heart RY or you will all ways think what if

I use Tung oil on all my walnut stocks

take the stock off then give it a rub over with 0000 wire wool

then clean it off with a damp cloth to remove all the bits of wire wool

then put the oil on with your hands

a good amount at first then let it stand for an hour then buff it off

then let it stand for a good few hours

then buff again

if it needs more just repeat the process

ps,,,you can give the stock a soapy bath after you have wire wool.d it this will also remove any old oil that is in the wood

and help the grain pop

use the soap suds and a sponge

DO NOT LEAVE IT IN TO LONG IN THE WATER ONLY A FEW MINS WILL DO THE JOB

some iv done below

it dose not dry with a shine as in pics lol
