Feck feeding another dog , just put up a couple of Isis flags .. got the police watching my house 24/7 now ?

I married a Northern lass good with kids bit agressive around house & can cook. No one visits anymore. Atb

If you want a yard dog and something to guard your kennels i personally dont think you can beat a well bred bandog type.Naturally territorial, generally not dog aggressive if properly socialised, physic

Why don't you see Rottweiler s ect like you did in the 90s sure they were a lot better then

That's what I thought. The bitch reminds me of one bitch my bro had about 3 years ago, not kc and looked the part but had cancer

Anyone had dealings with Akita’s? I’ve never really seen the appeal

It's funny, whenever that breed is mentioned everyone has stories of absolute savage beasts. Whereas the only one I've met is a giant and a complete f***ing coward, it'd let a child strangle it to death before it mustered up any aggression! Soft as shit but utterly f***ing useless.

Make a nice rug mind. I'd just tell folk it was off a f***ing Panda!

The breeding monsters ruined them by breeding any old shite for money, my area ended up with Rottweilers that looked about the size of a spaniel walking round, then the pit bull took its place and they just never seemed to come back in favour, nice to see a couple of proper good strong ones even if they do have tails ?

If im not mistaken one of the first if not the first magazine from sporting dog journal was about Dr Swineford. If I remember right it said English mastiff pit.

I am surprised they never tried a bull mastiff x apbt? Now by me in the  that  w - ton by the black country, old line staffs were popular  simlar to pits of to day well blokes were  useing bull mastiff x pits, just as guard dogs, and quite few were not bad guard dogs, but still bit sharp  with other dogs. It was about the apbt started to get banned in England. But these  deff were improvement to a pure bull mastiff, as good guard dog, but alot more healthy. It a type x I like, and if left lurchers. I deff would have one, but suppose it be hard getting this type x today ?

I used to see the rottys that went other way hulking great things that would have heart attack if they tried leaping up at you.

Yes horrible 10stone + things. They were never supposed to be like that.

No doubt a lot of poor breeding went on through 80/90s......My dad was a fan & owned a few, not my cup of tea at all....
