Haha I can believe it I wouldn't believe any type of DNA like that look at the queens pure cockers or springer can't remember which but got disqualified for being a sprocker from a show. Lads say they've pure salukis there's no such thing as pure even the arabs in desert say it they're guard dog might catch a saluki bitch it'll have the pups then whatever shape as a saluki type with the saluki looks and traits get blessed asil meaning they're clean and allowed into the tent then they'll get put to saluki dogs people seem to be blind nowadays get told the dogs are pure and believe it get told its an upcoming breed and believe it where's people's common sense gone

Have you seen that twat that states he has recreated the original molossus in America there's a video on YouTube. He actually believes his own bull***t about it.  The dog looks like an absolute joke only good for guarding your sofa with dodgy shape and unable to run properly. I think his selling his for thousands as an ancient breed from the roman empire etc

Yeah I was just about to say that, the biggest dreamer / twat going he calls them American Molossus  and says they're a recreation from 5000 years ago! God save us from these egotistical fools that want to recreate breeds He got his inspiration from old statues ffs!

Is ridiculous to think people are doing this and think it's a good thing! Just look at it the imagine for a sec that he is saying these are what the old molossus looked like and that they was used in wars and for blood sport. I read a script written by a famous roman historic author god knows what he was called. In the script he wrote about a great powerful breed of dog the celts in Britain used as war dogs that could rip a man limb from limb and take down horses. The Romans took them with them when possible and put them in colosseums against tigers, lions, people etc. Now imagine those American things doing any of that if only people put as much effort in to making the breeds healthier and workable instead!

I reckon the old molossus would have been a leggy athletic type mastiff more like a dane ,but with balls.Saying that there are people here who breed a good strain of danes that win shows and hunt well.
