Not sure about this one i think he said its a mix of Imported and uk bloodlines? there an old southern breed tho of older mixed bulldogs like southern white, there blood is in the make up of the apbt. A quality working bulldog like the painters and Scotts imo!

All these modern Alapahas are a lot  newer breed than any of the other breeds that you mentioned. The origional blood was an old type of bulldog/farm cur but there has been allsorts chucked in them in the last 30/40 years and they were sent over with mythical stories and made up pedigrees just the same as the ABs were 25years ago. What UK lines is there showing in its pedigree?

Feck feeding another dog , just put up a couple of Isis flags .. got the police watching my house 24/7 now ?

I married a Northern lass good with kids bit agressive around house & can cook. No one visits anymore. Atb

If you want a yard dog and something to guard your kennels i personally dont think you can beat a well bred bandog type.Naturally territorial, generally not dog aggressive if properly socialised, physic

Yeah I read that a couple years ago including the mountain bulldogs etc it said the old types made up its blood line but they've only been recognised really as a pure breed for about 30/40 years. It did say about there blood in the make up of the blue cur and apbt which would explain the odd blue merle in pits. I mean the blood put in was from an English bred bloodine of abbb I think not my dog so would have to look through comments again. Nice dog tho always liked am bulldogs and had one top dog's Atb Criss

Mates old mastiff very chilled out dog.

If anyone approached while fishing you held his chain and he would instantly turn to snot and teeth.?

Never any hassle we used to fish the Kennet and the good spots backed onto a traveller site they came down and soon f****d off when they saw the dog.

Mate has two of them now dog and bitch but the dog has got a twisted raised spine, but I guess that's pure breds for you.

We used to fish a couple places, woodpeckers and hunters lodge that was nice spots but the foxhole outside crawley where I grow up and places like that it was always handy. Never a problem down here in devon tho. I bet they did I know I would when the teeth come out! That's the problem with all the pure breeds these days they need something new adding to the gene pool don't they!

The merle comes from the Catahulsa Leopard dog.Along with the willingness no bite people as if you talk to any of the really old bulldog men as i have most of the old origional farm bulldogs, southern whites etc(before the names AB or alapaha even existed)were mostly farm stock dogs and were actually very soft with people.

Catahpula leopard dogs I've seen them there meant to b a good all rounder ain't they. I always thought it was the other way around glad I know it ain't now cheers. Am I right in saying that they got it from a french breed of dog around the 16/17 century? Someone from the states told me who had them and some curs?

What bloodlines does it have in it.

She's from an import bitch of ff foxfarm in USA who only breed the old buck lane and Lana lane bloodline bred from lanes marble lane dog a lot of years ago then line bred to lanes line to get the dam. The side was a necks dog over here who are bred from a USA dog imported years ago but the breeding make up are supposed to make decent sized athletic dogs the dam was 22" and 78lb side was 24 1/2". 92lb  hitches from previous litter made 23-24"  and between 83 and 86 lb.will see if the breeding helps when she's matured.

I've seen a few of the necks dogs couple of em seem to be on the short stocky side for me 19-22" that's why the Yankee blood was appealing to me then Id put my bitch to a ff foxfarm Yankee dog (if she's good enough) there's not many of the proper lanes blood about I've spoken to the ff forearm kennel owner who's advised me the way to go to keep the buck lane type of dog as good as it can be there's a few different breeds in the make up so could all to tits up.
