A lad I knew had an English mastiff in the 90's, he was 30 inch tall, don't know about weight but he was a big lump, one day a fella walked past us with a Doberman and the mastiff nearly put them all through the tall wooden fence as he exploded to get hold of the doberman, didn't they call them keeper of the thief as they stand at the door and won't let you out, I remember this dog blocking the passage when I tried to leave, and he'd watch you, but had a nice calm temperament about him

Don't know much about them to be honest, except that they are huge lol. And yeah, my old girl's dog was pretty calm ?

Feck feeding another dog , just put up a couple of Isis flags .. got the police watching my house 24/7 now ?

I married a Northern lass good with kids bit agressive around house & can cook. No one visits anymore. Atb

If you want a yard dog and something to guard your kennels i personally dont think you can beat a well bred bandog type.Naturally territorial, generally not dog aggressive if properly socialised, physic

The oldest dog and healthiest dog I've ever owned and still got him (here at almost 18),a straight cross pitbull/bullmastiff.Never seen a vet.Caught a few pigs when younger but mainly a guard dog, very good at night guarding, and still is.His pure bullmastiff dad lived till over 14.He was raised on feral goats meat(all my dogs favourite food).

Yeah I'm wondering how long he can go.He's got no teeth left.I think his back legs will go on him eventually.

My old man got two mini dachsunds, grandmother and grandson. The grandmother is 15 1/2, and just had her right eye out 3 weeks ago, and 10 weeks before that she had 11 teeth out! Poor old girl is still battling on though lol ?

Both parents to this from jinopo kennels. Very driven bitch and excellent guard dog. They fetch strong money but more than worth it.

i had a shepherd from a working line a few yrs back and ive never known a dog with as much drive and guarding instinct as him, i moved him on to a bloke who uses him in shutzhund and he has excelled there aswell so if i want another guard dog in future it'l be a working line shepherd.

Where I used to live is a fella built like a brick outhouse and he walks a tea cup Yorkshire terrier ?

Fella near me walks a shitzu or similar, with a Hell's Angel Defiant Ones cut off leather colours jacket on (the bloke, not the dog)

Cheers, D.
