Pure air gun hunting with the Pro Sport .177

Well lads i fancied putting the Pro Sport to the test tonight.

                      Remember the practice/ training i put into these rifles ?

Well i put a full leaf suit on, face mask, gloves and sat among the disused poly tunnels and undergrowth precisely 35 yards from a dead sitty tree.

I was after one of the most elusive pests there is, the Jay.

                A good few of late around here and the nursery owners wanted their numbers down a little.

                A "true test" for spring rifle hunting. 

His Lordship`s retrieving to hand was spot on - made up with him and the Pro Sport.

Good work on the jays Mark. A tricky quarry indeed, especially for an airgunner. I’ve got some to deal with myself and it would be good to get them with an air rifle. I usually shoot them with a shotgun, which can still be difficult. They seem to know when they’re just out of range serendipity puts most of my jays in the bag. Well done
