Pure airgun hunting with the old classic HW 77.

Saw a rabbit on arrival at the permission but that was the last i saw this evening.

A grey showed itself carrying a conker, stopped in the lane and stared my way trying to find me.

The 77 took him at dead on 40 yds lased with a perfect head shot.

So i left him where he dropped as magpies were hanging around.

The little ploy worked lads. :good:

Another head shot at 40 yds.

I continued the wait but all went very quiet so i sent Kaiser in for his beloved retrieves.

The training and practice on simulated paper targets always pays back .
