Static/electric training collars

Can anyone recommend a make/model of static/electric shock collar for using to train hounds to livestock?

I may be wrong but sure it came over the radio the other day saying it came in. Maybe not even a week ago so pretty recent unless they gave a date later on from when it comes illegal

Is the sportdog powerful enough for a fairly stubborn dog?

Yer has 14 different levels. Iv never needed to go more than half way for any dog even stubborn bleeders who are numb in the head ha

What model is that if you don’t mind me asking?

All sportdogs have that feature. The models usually go up in the distance that they work at. Think mines the 825

Get a garmin one from gps4us great job and will defo stop dog in his track s no matter how stubborn. Diff models on the sdite check it out

Mine (SD-425) only has 7 settings. Which is plenty mind for me. Level 4 or 5 is enough to break most dogs attention without causing fear/shock, just an uncomfortable stimulus.
