Wife at work, granddaughter gone home, over weight, not walked my full walk in months!

Time to lug my arris the full distance. No breakfast!

A full six hours still on the 22 HV ammo.

Several squirrels fell and a couple of crows were missed. Loads of fox sign on the far edge of my patch in acres and acres of maize.

I have really enjoyed using my 22 these past few weeks. I was getting tired of it with subsonic ammo but the HV stuff makes it more interesting and the extra noise does not spoil anything.

Jess had a ball too.

I’m just starting to see more squirrel activity, they are starting to hide food for winter. I have got my rimfire with me all the time . It breaks the day up cos every time an opportunity to shoot one arises I take it . I’ve got a clicker in the cab and it’s surprising how the numbers mount up over a season.
