RTurlough 160
Hi guys, any real good tips on how to secure a tracking collar so it does not come off in thick cover? Are you's just using black insulating tape just the way you would for taping up a terrier collar???? Edited August 26, 2018 by RTurlough Quote Link to post
mushroom 12,352
I've seen a karabiner attached to both sides of the clip as a fail safe faster and then taped over. That was a custom job though, where he had extra loops attached to the collar, to click the karabiner to Quote Link to post
RTurlough 160
I have to keep the original collar on AND also add the tracking collar so as well as taping up the buckle on the tracker I think I will cable tie the two collars together. Quote Link to post
Boristheblade 1,362
Surely if you put the collar on tightly it won’t cone off? Mine go through real thick cover and there’s no chance they will come off Quote Link to post
Igz 1,366
Atleast you’ll have no problems finding it 1 Quote Link to post
