Guess the vets price

Recommended Posts

Lurcher had a skin tear to lower chest....4 inch long.......eight stitches needed and a follow up appointment.

I believe it wasn't from barb wire.....given our location on walk more likely end of a old dry branch or something.

So have a guess at price.......

Its no about the animal now its all about making money with vets these days

It is excessive get your sen a stapler

They Rip the piss for insured dogs

Right........ like me you all assumed lower, no doubt some may say it's a fair price.....

At old vets I hazard a guess at £200 max.

So all in inc, general anesthetic, tablets, neck collar, and check up.........   Over £400.

I know I probably only  have to stand £100 excess.......but

It really seems a bit too excessive for me.

That's ridiculous over £400 seen you coming and put the price up!! Then again I once paid £180 for one injection after my old dog ate alot of chocolate and he just chucked up for half hour then!! But it was half 12 at night so had call out charge

At least Dick Turpin had the decency to wear a mask, slightest sign of infection I would want a refund.

Good luck

Coombefield vets in devon wouldn't give me a refund for telling me my dog had kennel cough when infact she had a diagramtic hernia.poor bitch was like that for a week before being pts.
