Found one, lost one but, had a bloody good evening.

Dave invited Mark and me back up to his golf course permission again last night

Now that I've got the HW100 back to being set up how it should be and, I've got more staff at work, I jumped at the chance

We got there for 7:30pm so that we could have some daytime hunting before we took the NV out.

i sat in this spot, tucked into the treeline, for an hour or so, watching the bushes at the bottom of the hill - that's a nature reserve just beyond so, we usually get rabbits coming through.

....... Those bushes are 45yrds away.

No, 120yrds is taking the piss.  ....... I wouldn't use sub 12 on anything over 110yrds     Them Primos are a god send at any time - my scope image looks like I've got Parkinsons

When the light started fading, I went for a walk.

I eventually caught a bit of movement - there was the first rabbit, over the stream - 51yrds away

I've only just mapped out my reticle again so, the 100 went up on the stick, nice and steady, a little hold over and, the shot hit perfectly

A good loud crack and, it rolled over and acted like it was kick starting it's motorbike.

Just as it was getting dark, we all met back at the cars to sort the NV.

We headed off to the far end of the course where there's a couple of good warrens but, we didn't see much other than a couple of foxes hanging around.

I did find one in the long grass, by a house that backs onto the course.

The little CRSUK range finder said it was 44yrds - again, off the sticks, a little hold over and, the pellet hit home well

....... This one was a bit more animated than the first so, I lost him in the grass.

the area was only 40yrds from the houses back windows and, because of how bright my torch is, and, it was nearly midnight, I didn't want to spend too long feckin about so, I lost that one.

I'm well happy with this Viper and range finder combo - I should have fitted it weeks ago

It makes me laugh that they always to lick each others plates when they've finished eating
