Im in New Zealand buddy, my 97 is 15.5 ft lbs, all my rabbits on this property are beyond 50m, lying prone on top of a stop bank resting on my porta aim tripod the main warren is 53 metres, 97 zeroed for 50, launching JSB heavies at 809 fps. As you can see from the title 21 so far, my wife has been beside me for a couple of sessions, 

I shoot mainly targets, the Blue Demon is running a vortek PG2 SHO kit, and on a good day I've shot a 13mm 5 shot group at 50.

So Bud it is possible, I do it every week. Currently shooting starlings for my employer, 43  so far...

even with a sub 12 mate

60 mtr targets at the shooting range bang on the money u

shot for shot with a 97 blue ,,tx200,,hw77,,pro sport,,the list go,s on

all sub 12

if you know your rifles and how they shoot

you can shoot out a hell of a lot more than that mate

took a rabbit out at 64yrds with the 77 lights out one shot one kill

U is a hell of a shot not just with scoped rifles but with open sites as well

but i think he needs to use a 97 and he will see what we are on about

there not the best for nothing
