The old classic arrived today, SFS tuned HW77

Bought Jimmy`s old HW 77 .177 cal, and she arrived today.

Very well packed Jimmy :good:.

                    Well, set her up, plumb lined and leveled the old Hawke scope i have spare, ( just to start her off with) .

Then onto the range in my garden 38 yds zero.

               Didn`t take long to achieve 1st zero.

Lovely, silky smooth action with the Sandwell Field Sports tune.

              She`s looking a great addition.

It only came down to the stocks Mark which one i sold mate

and the blue won

both rifles shoot the same and  are silky smooth as each other

and the 77 had a bit more wait to i than the 97

any way enjoy her mate she is one hell of a rifle Mark.

funny the tx has not seen the light of day since he got the hw,s lol

that 77 is deadly very deadly

67yrds right on the money dead the rabbit just rolled over

was the best shot i did with it .

and iv no doubt in my mind Mark will top that with her.

just happy its gone to some one that will put her to work

mind i only put the jsb exacts in her 8.44gr

Back in 1998 I swapped that gun for a brand new air arms s410 carbine,  still got the s410 today and wouldn't part with it. But I didn't need to part with hw77 either but I did and soooo regret it, that is a classy piece of kit in my oppion and brings back loads of great memory's  absolute great piece of kit very jealous enjoy.

Sorry No, doubt if it  was this exact same gun  Big Mac. The one I parted with went to a fella who if I remember correctly, was part or a member of  Bisley Gun Club, or something at the time.  All I know now thinking back was, he was a bloody good sales man at the time,  as I parted with a bit of class. And  I didn't know it being to young at the time ha ha.
