It was a tough old day yesterday, that heat made it hard for everyone, especially the dogs but as usual a great chance to meet old friends and new.

Dispite the heat classes were well attended and the bushing dog show is going from strength to strength.

Always good to have Mr Strong Stuff alongside us. Aaron's always good company and a good sport, especially as i annouced he was doing a half price sale (which he obviously wasn't..!!) And for his generous donation to our raffle and lastly putting up with my mithering to draw the raffle tickets... Cheers A ?

My highlight was seeing an old mate who i've not seen in nearly 30 years! We were so engrossed catching up and then me having to announce classes quick, we didn't exchange numbers... Bugger! So if anyone knows 'Gordy' from Leigh please drop me a pm!!!

Got to say the judges did a fantastic job, i know i wouldn't have fancied their lot on such a day.... Our own Blackmaggie, in his first time out as a judge, took to it like a duck to water and i'm sure it won't be his only time...Well played and thank you..!! ?

Another massive thank you is for Charlotte, All Terrain's daughter, who jumped in at the 11th hour to ring steward the lurchers and took it all in her stride, she did a great job.! ?

I agree wirh you too Crackers, its only a small GF and could do with a few more stalls but its still a decent little day out and you only pay for the car, so pack the car full and get someone else to drive, that cider stall's a calling...

See ya all next year....?

Fun stalking event . It will be about shot placement, knowing your rifle ballistics and bullet drop and using guidelines of law and permissions when out stalking.

Great for the novice and challenging for the more experienced.

Using sticks fence posts car Bonnet , bipod and free standing. You will be asked to range find and hit kill zone that will be a bit smaller than the general kill zone of a deer .

It will also have a few thing to throw you and make you think of laws and
      Permissions .

Will finish with paper at 300  just for fun and not to encourage 300 yard shots on deer

      Deer target
      Gongs , eggs
      And more ...

Your need a Range finder . Open license. And a zeroed stalking moderated rifle
      60 rounds of hunting amo
      License and insurance
