Far from it lad. Look, I don't know how it works in the UK.  Presumed with no licence required, that it's not necessary to lock away air rifle or pellets?

As I said earlier, if under 16 year old's are able to get hold of pellet guns in the household  then it is illegal.

Rather than bring in new legislation, make the sentence more severe, and set it across the board , for all criminal acts !!!

Why are some poster on this thread acting like soft poop jims ?  Why is it that those posters are jumping up and down because this lad has been killed ? Admitedly it was a gun but what  about numerous other children who meet their end yesterday. Should cars be banned or any other thing that was involved.   At the present it hasn't been stated how the accident happened. Dont do the work of the antis for them.

quote sun news . ... Police today confirmed they were treating Stanley's death as a tragic accident.

Detective Chief Inspector Mark Goulding today told media: "We're still investigating the circumstances of exactly what happened, but initial indications are that this was a tragic accident involving a pellet airgun.

"We haven't made any arrests in connection with the incident, but we are speaking to a number of family members to assist us with our enquiries."

He said it was believed the youngster was visiting family at the time.
