The dogs would be well adapted to working places like that  and read the bolting game well, IMO with what little time I spend ferreting It’s good to watch dogs doing there thing working places like that.

the dog will feel the bumps from the rabbit's underground coming through there feet.if the dog feels more bump's through it's back feet then it know's to turn around etc.or bumps coming from the left or right hand side.
