Phill-W68 547
Hi peeps, looking to purchase a small knife to take with me in the field, don't want anything flashy or expensive, in a sheath with its own sharpening stone I can attach to a belt, I've seen a fair few magpies on the perm the last few times I've been and would,nt mind trying dead bugsy as bait for them and the Mrs would,nt want me taking the steak knives out ☺... Thankyou Quote Link to post

FLATTOP 3,657
I agree about Mora I’ve got a couple of there knives that they don’t make any more very good steel at a reasonable price and if you lose them in the field not the end of the world. 1 Quote Link to post

Jonjon79 13,340
I use a cheap little 1" locker on a key ring. I think it cost me about 2 quid. It's done rabbits, pigeons, squirrels, twine, wire, all sorts. If you look after any blade, it should serve you well ....... This one's been going for about 4 years. 1 Quote Link to post

Nothing wrong with a wee opinel but the colour of the handle i now lean towards a bright coloured plastic handle so ifi drop it or lay it on the ground i can see it right away and no need to search for it Quote Link to post
