I must admit i normally go mad on the running end of augaust early september then get sick of sweating and long grass so end up leaving it a few weeks anyway. We all got our different ways of doing things at the end of the day good luck to anyone actually getting out there n doing what they can.

True enough, I'm usually biking mine this time of year, just a five miler in the mornings. Too hot at 7.0'clock ATM.

Cheers, D.

Early or late, don't make much difference really. Still far too warm to be trying to get dogs fit. And to those that are already lamping their dogs in these conditions, well, it beggars belief.

Ok, take your dogs out early or late evening for a bit of exercise,  but make sure you're close to riverbanks etc
