How do you know when a tank is getting empty

Hi all maybe a daft question .  

 

But filled my hw100 today and only filled to 170 bar not the normal 200 bar. Does this mean my tank is getting empty or could it be this hot weather causing it?

That'll be the tank Dan.

 ...... It's only got 170bar left in it so, that's all it will pressurise the rifle to.

 

If the hot weather was having an effect, it would make the air expand, adding a little pressure.

Apparently he has had the dive bottle filled and every thing is OK now ,so I have read

I'm more than a little surprised its as low as 170 if the usual rifle fill is 200, that's an enormous drop if it made 200 on the last fill!

Cheers lads. Bottle was low had it filled and rifle now sits at 200 no problem.

There is a plug you can get from Best Fittings that will let you read the gauge on the cylinder to know how much air left

You will need the kit Dan. One for the tank, one for the rifle filler and the plug. The kit allows you to quickly switch from one rifle fitting to another in seconds. Another advantage of the plug is that you can simply turn on the air flow while the plug is in place which will show you on the tank gauge what pressure you have in the tank.
