West coast mate, this was a decent fish I had at 5am this morning, didn’t half put a bend in the rod.  Got snapped by a couple of others...

Food of the gods Arry, the fillet is coated in salt, sugar and whisky (and some dill) wrapped in cling film and left for a couple of days in the fridge with a weight on it.  Wash the salt/cure mixture of it and it’s ready to eat.  Did a side last year and it was bloody good

Sadly not mate, not enough water to get my stoats tail twitching round our neck of the woods.  This one from up north and straight out of a tidal pool

It was a cast of sorts, not sure what you would call it but am going to practice it again in an hour when the tide is just right.  A chap with the appropriate tackle can always find a fish in these parts ..

Tight lines mate,if ever I returned to the north-east to live I will cast again for salmon and sea-trout,lots of good memories,be lucky :victory:
