Went out this morning, it was really hot but at least no wind, got these corvids and i shot plenty more that dropped into the cow pens but i couldnt get to them.

Cheers vm, iv been useing jsb exact 8.4  the last 4 or 5 times iv been out because the local gun shop has no bizley magnums, really good pellets

Try the AA express /jsb express ,if your gun likes them you will not use anything else . 

Mine is running @ 805 FPS with express and very good at long distance and in the wind ,give them a go

started using them for the rats and have never looked back, did an 82 last night first shot... me mate nearly fell over!

i used to like the heavys but found some would drop on the spot dead some would run then drop dead

dead but they did not know they were dead and when i picked them up the shot was spot on

so went back to exact 8.46

That's around 570ft sec so we are around .22 figures, except pellet diameter is smaller?

Sorry, not trying to take this of track, but will/does it hold its energy like a .22 and how does the arc compare with a similar .22? 

I'm thinking it should retain better penetration but give a smaller wound channel.   Not sure where I'm going here but this may be giving the .177 a bit more versatility, but 16.2gr is still very heavy for a .177.

Is shot count still down (PCP) on .22, I guess it will be?!

I’ll do a chrono test at range when I get a bit of time for it. As for accuracy, the beast is ok at medium range and the heavy is very accurate. I’ll run them both against the exact 8.4 for both accuracy and energy retention. As soon as I can get it done I’ll post it up

 

Edit to say, don’t know about shot count with the heavies, I haven’t checked that....yet.
