mushroom 12,387
Transfer rate is not guaranteed between currency. So if you buy in Nowegian, it's still based on forex exchange rates. Plus could also be investigated in UK for suddenly having 15K dropped in his account There are other digital currencies with more potential

Have a word with an accountant in the UK. They should set you straight were you stand with tax. Peace of mind then.

What other coins are you thinking of. I've been holding a few coins since January. The accounts you can use to purchase with Bitcoin, are still based on forex. So your savings are technically at the mercy of the exchange rates. If you have Bitcoin, right now depends on when you bought (and/or) mined them. I know someone who gained a 100 dollars worth, back in 2010ish... he's made more than a few million by selling at 15K Edited to add; In July 2010 Bitcoin was valued at 0.08cents (American).... do the maths Edited June 21, 2018 by mushroom

He would be $187m. It's hard to get your head around them figures. That's the best $100 he will ever spend without doubt.
