Been to see the pup, the sire is a red dog of Nuttall/Wheeler blood. A steady and calm dog not so typical of them, a bayer until broken through to. The dam is down off some big dogs from Wales, suited for their task. She's a mute rough haired dog with plenty of drive. Don't know if any Welsh lads know a dog called Maud, she was the grandmother of the dam.

You could say that about any man or any dog, I trust the blokes word for it. I've seen the grandfather Jake work and it was the real deal. It's a shame he lost the dog but the two daughters he owns from him are just like their father. Horses for courses, might be a bit too mute and too hard for somes liking but they do the job.
