Earliest one of my family goes back to is the 1780s a man by the name of Shadrack Boswell landed on a boat in Northumberland somewhere.

i suppose a romany but I don’t no bones about labels that’s how it is round our way. 

I don’t go Appleby but my brother goes and it is a beautiful part of our country

Here in my mother as a baby, but i was struck by her mother looks like a gangsters moll or straight out of Bonny and Clyde.

Now I thought my Granddad was just on Minesweepers, Phoned his youngest my mothers sister today the only one left of that generation. She informed that was in ww1 and ww2 in the Battle of Jutland, was rescued after HMS Prince of Wales was sunk by the Japanese. Served on HMS Rodney and HMS Alacrity.

Here he i crossing the equator ceremony.

Helping out after a earth quake some ruin village.

 

Says HMS Rodney with a ? mark.

My Aunty and Uncle 74 years ago he got shot running up the beach in Normandy. Lucky he survived. Gone now.
