The problem is Barrie we are all tarred with the same brush, you know that it's nothing new, the point I was trying to make is a quick and immediate response to distance ourselves from that sort of cruelty and the only way is to fight fire with fire. I understand the NWTF etc have a battle on there hands and are doing there best. Atb Barrie I've said my tuppence worth.

I agree Apache it's not that hard to comprehend. Apologies I quoted your previous post by mistake. Above is the extract from your post regards paperwork not making a difference I took issue with, but as you stated we are all entitled to our opinions. So here is mine hopefully put a little better. It is this very paperwork that the NWTF puts together on Terriermens behalf where no one else bothers makes all the difference. Fighting everything that affects what we all do. That paperwork in its various presentations and one of the most important pieces of paperwork being the NWTF code of conduct is what made and currently makes the difference. There would be no terrierwork today without it. 

So there lies the difference between doing nothing and standing up to attacks on what we do with paperwork, proper knowledge and having an able organisation being able to put the two together counteracting all the paper arguments the ANTIS put in front unknowing politicians who can write us off without knowing the what they are doing. 

Totally agree too about distancing themselves from any illegal activity. Sure you couldn't condone that carry on As it's against the law

Data Protection Laws.Like all the data that people thought was securely stored on Facebook etc. The CEO of Facebook has just been up before Congress in the USA over data being leaked/passed on to third partys .A licence for anything only works for law abiding people,there will always be the idiots who will not bother with a licence who are exactly the type of people the Licensing schemes were brought in to clamp down on. Take the handgun ban for example,all the law abiding people who held licences and owned handguns had there guns confiscated and destroyed,and then all the handguns were left in the criminals hands ?? Did the ban stop handgun crime ? No there is more handgun crime than ever now,just look how many shootings down London since xmas .Like you say its always the small minority that ruin it for the masses no matter what it is .

Can't argue with that MickC. But anyone misusing this information is in serious trouble. One thing for sure these laws will be getting more and more stringent as time goes by. And as I mentioned in a previous post wouldn't be a fan of licenses. But if it was a choice between nothing and a license it would be a license.

It's the same thing with microchiping, tail docking, dog breeding establishments, etc..... all storing your information online. No doubt you have your trusty workers chipped and registered in case they get lost. Name, address, dog breed, DOB, etc, it is the law of the land since around 2015 U.K. You can be fined without chipping your dog.

mr.charlie , since i don't have a dog in this dig ,i'll just put my shovel down .n watch what happens , on your side of the pond , but your 100% [BANNED TEXT] about the phone cameras . i've  been around game dogs long enough to see  the down fall  of the bulldog game over here. now peta , humane society, focus seems to be on the patterdale facebook pages ,  these puppy peddlers over here are posting comic book stories with fairly tail ending , only believed by some whom know ,know better and peta n humane society puts there spin on these stories , stay game  most won't, richlee

Many thanks for that, and atb to you too. We do indeed “do our best” and I’d like to think the mere fact that terrierwork is the only form of hunting with dogs NOT BANNED by the Hunting Act 2004 is a reasonable indicator of how successful, or otherwise, we are in what we do.
