Skins can still be sold but it is more for those that want a trophy skin as a discussion point but in recent years there has been a slight movement in skin buying for European markets, nothing big like the 80's - I remember that as I was just getting into hunting then, being a city boy. ?

With the consideration that I am in Australia.

Over here in most States we kill them off as pest management, there is also a bounty on them in Vic, along with Wild Dogs.

What has been the go in history, and now please?

Probably no bounty as they are native animals in the UK,or a mix of imported and native foxes, despite being pests. They used to have scalp bounty on wombats when my dad was young at 50c a scalp.I can't imagine a bounty on natives animals here in oz these days.

Back in the 80,s everything had value, fox,s£15-£25 per pelt, £5 for an ear tag and £25 for tracking collars, squirrels tails, hares masks and jays wings 50p each rabbits 50p at the butchers if clean or 25p to the zoo if damaged, rainbow trout used to fetch a £1 a piece in every pub, could shift a van load in an evening with the odd load of scrap don't think I went to work for 10 years, such a happy time ????
