Take it to a gunsmith Mac. I'm sure it could be fixed quite easily unless it's beyond that.

As it's for a good cause, if he charges you, I'll pay for it.

Thanks for the offer Dave but ill drop it in to my

mates the rfd John

and he can sort it bud

I just did not want to send it the way it is i could not live with the guilt if a kid got hurt

because of a rifle i sent down that was not right .

Right after a chat with Tim (Charlie caller)

and finding out that the stock was a mk3 and not a mk2 stock

i put some white paint on the trigger block to see if it was catching the stock

And it was so set about sorting it out ,

i put the stock in the vice and drilled the parts out that was catching the trigger

i then set about it with the hand file once this was done i put it back together and cocked it and put the barrel back up and it did not go off ,

i did this about 40 time and with some aggression to see if i could make it go off

and it did not so now im going to cut a link off the spring (as i dont think its the right spring for this rifle )

So the end cap will sit right in the block and make a new holding Pin for her as well ,

Im over the moon with the result and a big thank you must go to Tim for his help on this .

A mk3 stock dose fit a mk2 action but you must do a little alteration to the trigger port to make it fit

so it dose not push up against the trigger .

Looks like she will be on her way before long Gary ;)

Iv put some work into this rifle its had my head done in lol

It looks stunning and shoots nice

iv only got a few bits and bobs to do to her now and she is done and finally Gary will get it for the kids shooting club

I think the lad has waited long enough for it .

It was one of them jobs ,,that when you put it down and you settle to down to your night

YOU just cant stop thinking about it and new ideas pop in to your head so you go back to it again lol

so you end up in the man shed all night .

I was not going to let it beat me  mister Gain

Cheers mate
