I have a simular scope on a regal, you get used to it.

Get a sling and sticks or bipod.

I shoot it at x20 mag rabbits squirrels n pigeon. Then x6 for rats.

Nice Airmax  SF 3-12-50  probably the best airgun scope either for .177 or .22 , works well with both

                   Mounts on a non recoiling gun don`t have to be "all conquering "- Sports Match are perfect, one piece or singles, - whichever floats ya boat.

                   Scope wise I bought Sean`s ( Vizlauk`s) previous Mamba 4-16 x 50 off him for my HW 100 KT .177.

                    Big, heavy scope, that I was advised to get from a very prominent air gun hunter, for the 100.

                    I haven`t looked back on that decision I can tell you, what a combination they make

On a serious note, is that by the side of some council estate? 

It has to be the most un rural permission Ive seen, assuming theres more than one or two of course.

But weight dose not matter when static hunting of  sticks

" Correct" as well as shooting sticks, fence posts, bipods or knees, etc, the list goes on and on.

                   Saying that though, the static hunting lads want as much weight/ stability as they can get.  

                    As well as some of the walk about hunters.
