made the mst of it yesterday, the missus got the day off from work so my pal landed up and we had a good muck about in the snow, rather sore this morning.

The Scottish snow was just to much for my English shed! Heard an almighty crash and thought a load of snow must of slid of the roof? Went out for a smoke and noticed my shed ?

More rain and strong winds here last night.

Seems to have been like that nearly all year so far. More forecast today, would love some snow just for a change.

On radio 2 his morning Chris Evans was talking to one of the "heroic" people who got stuck for a few hours in the snow. Now call me old fashioned but since when has being sat in your car for a while doing fcuk all been anything like heroic?

1963 - heroic was the word. Woodies frozen to sprouts and something like 90 days sub-zero temps. Ground froze solid to 13"

The weather these days is a poor comparison. -32F at Shawbury if i remember correctly.
