Mooch on Dartmoor

Recommended Posts

Finally managed to get out for a walk up Dartmoor with sniffer boy today. It’s been a while and a well overdue catch up with some of the lads. Weather was a bit patchy but well worth the walk. Only one rabbit but the dogs had a good run out. On the way home we stopped off and took Newkid out for some much needed fresh air!!

Newkid and his dogs joined us. The sausage is now definitely part of the team!

Proper killer! Lol

What he needs is a dog like yours ken, runs the flint every day and never gets cut. Super dog lol

Lovely part of the country as long as its dry.nowherw to hide from the rain there.

Looks good rabbit ground.were they not there or the dogs lost them in the gorse.?

Good day anyhow.

They were probably in there somewhere mate. Doesn’t seem to hold a big amount this time of year.

Don't think I've Seen a smooth coat teckle out in the field, how old is it ,is it going to be a busher .

Think she is about 2 years old. Newkid bought it for his wife and was told not to turn it into a hunter!!! It’s by no way from working stock but one day she tagged along......she will go into cover and she always tags along with us. I have seen her latch onto a rabbit and she will not let go!! Funny how instinct and hanging around with other dogs can change things.
