Got a few photos of carvings which I took on a few visits to Aussie. Excuse the presence of the grandkids.

A few from William Ricketts sanctuary in the Dandenong mountains (fcuking place was full of spiders and webs, and it's best not to mess with Aussie spiders)

Another Peter Randal Page sculpture hidden in the Teign Valley.  Its a bolder cut in half and lead let into it I would say over a meter in diameter. The lead is flush as the photos make it seem raised

Also in Exeter.....

The real ones are even more impressive, but it doesn't pay to get too close to the big surly fcukers LOL, they let you know when you are a bit too close.

how bizarre arry.....:hmm:

Indeed Tillylamp I like to imagine it was some Granddad that died and his ashes scattered beside the river (its on the banks of the Teign) Liked a spliff love his gardening hence the spring onion etc etc and the grand children friends and family left something that reminded them of the person. Perhaps i'm just going of on one.

A few more. Met a old boy he was cycling around the quarry who stopped for a chat, told me he used there when it was a working quarry, very interesting.

Thanks for the tip off ArchieHood.
