Rabbit,  sand is not easy digging. You have to chase the sand.  It rolls fast! shows you haven't worked sand much.. It could and will bury a dog fast!

Don't know about where you are but there are lots of different types of sand not all runs like on the beach

Had a day out last week and the dog bolted a large Charles and went back to ground straight after with the pressure on him . It was alot bigger than the dog and the wasn't a bark . Even though the dog has years behind it, I wouldn't say the experience of the ground made no odds to the dog on this one

If I was to walk past all sand earth's I wouldn't dig much lol is that what you do ace boon coon look at it and decide no to tough for my dog          sand is a horrible spot for a veteran dog let alone a pup that hasn't seen much. You must be the person that teaches there kid how to swim by throwing in the middle of the lake.  You had a pup that knew nothing and you put it in a bad position. And it' not the first time that dog was in a bad position. Didn't he just self entered not that long ago without a collar? But that's not a mistake either right because thats what they do right?  Your that fool that will never learn from your mistakes.  I'm not gonna sit on here and go back and forth over a mistake you made.  Keep on buddy.. And god bless any dog you get in the future!

Lozzer,  you can hit sand just about any we're.  But if you know the land and area then you should know somewhat to expect.  And rabbit no I'm not in Britain.  But sand is sand. It's either mixed or not. It' like working with BBS.  Once you touch it you better start working and working smart. Alot of folks wouldn't know how to deal with the sand giving way and how to move it. Off this thread not gonna make it a battle field over an opion
