Whippet x starting out

Recommended Posts

3rd trip out with Midge this year, only starting out on the lamp. He's near too eager walking in on his first rabbit but settles down after the first slip. Fairly starting to come along. Plenty of slips of rabbits in the seat and he will be flying, well chuffed with him ??

Looks like he'd make a top ferreting dog.Love the whippet crosses.

Haven't really done much ferreting with him, though come spring when there is young ferrets about il be getting a team of jills again. Havent had any in a couple of years, so get a few young uns so i know theyre well handled and break the dog to them.

To be honest im not 100% sure of the breeding, i know the sire is a full racing whippet but the bitch is some sort of whippet x, I thought she was collie whippet, or collie whippet greyhound, though there could be bull in the lines somewhere but im happy with the way hes working and he has plenty of heart so il not complain lol
