But, from my childhood, you just can't beat beef dripping and a little salt on bread - I've never had it as good since nan died. you got that right wish I had been taking notes when nan was alive. trigger2 3,100 Posted September 1, 2017 Report Share Posted September 1, 2017 when i was younger i use to eat chicken and mushroom pies in a sandwhich with salad cream. i also use to have pastie sandwhiches aswell. these days i dont eat alot of bread but i do enjoy a nice piece of steak cooked on the bbq in a sandwhich with grated cheese on top of it.
