I think their a cracking cross tbh, great coat, bags of drive, hearts of lions and a good nose, which ticks the boxes in a lurcher for me, I'f all goes well I'm useing a Wheaton/grey on this bitch when she breaks down next

Said it before teckers she's a cracking looking bitch. What you using on her a half cross?

thanks mate yea I believe so, the dog In question continually produce good pups as well so hopefully they'll make the grade anyway, she ain't due to brake down for a while yet but when she does hopefully I can get it sorted

Yes fairly tall too. Not my dog , it just came over from its home somewhere when I was walking a few months ago. Looks the biz

 

Would be interesting to see if the breed has still got the balls for work, you should sneak it away for a day trip somewhere Pablo :whistling:

Yes fairly tall too. Not my dog , it just came over from its home somewhere when I was walking a few months ago. Looks the biz

Would be interesting to see if the breed has still got the balls for work, you should sneak it away for a day trip somewhere Pablo :whistling:

I'm no fan of broken coated lurcher but this dog is a bueaty, have you chosen a Wheaton x to go over her yet or not. My pal has a 3/8 5/8 wheaton x grey 27tts and I think he is around 9 years old. He has seen a hell of alot of work.

cheers pal appreciate it, a guy off here has kindly said I could use his old dog, he's also proven and a proven producer of good stock which is good to know, thanks though mate if anything happens and for some reason that falls through id defo be interested ?

Yeah no problem well if you do breed your bitch and both dog and bitch do what my pal wanted from a dog then he possibly be interested in a pup if he carnt find a good single handed bitch to out his dog to

ha ha. No that's not fair nowadays ha but a shame too of dogs that want to work maybe ha. I do no of someone who has just bred one to a good whippet strain but it will have to get bred again as he isn't after a first cross of this type but his future workers. For fox
