king 11,664
I will be looking for a Hobart mincer in a month or 2 I've been looking on eBay etc. There loads of different model numbers etc. What model would you recommend. Or is there another make of mincer on par with a Hobart. It will be mainly used for whole rabbit and chicken backs. Thanks king..
socks 32,253
Go for as big a model as possible mate and large diameter mincing plates which allows for carcasses to pass through easier .... strangely enough the more owerfull mincers struggle with fat going through more than bone .....

The one 8,396
Ive got a hobart and used to mince everything , buy boxes of chicken carcasses and defrost them just enough to mince feckin frost bitten fingers , now i just go to the slaughter house at Cumbernauld and buy £100 of meat every couple of months for the dogs less hassle but if you go for a hobart its a 22 thats the biggest

SNAP-SHOT 138
I have the 22 and use it mainly for whole rabbits. Some of the fat winter rabbits need a back leg cutting off to fit down the tube but other than that it eats them in one with ease.
Pirate 9000 675
For chicken you need a 32 or it will take you for ever,if your only mincing small amount probably be cheaper to buy it ready minced.
