Plum Wine

Blimey, plums been ready here for over a week, going mouldy and dropping now, I reckon another week be hardly any left.

I've been lucky then, last three years have all given excellent crops, I thought this year was looking poor but they really came on well.

Same as Rabid. Branches are breaking with the weight of fruit. It's hopeless though as no one seems to want them. Doesn't anyone make chutney or jam anymore? I'm doing puddings, pies and as many bits and pieces as possible but I'll never use them all. Jok.

I know the feeling jok, I've had a lot of branches snap this year, been trying to get some weight off them, hence the wine, looking forward to trying some scrumpy this year.

Last year the tree was hanging , this year we had a severe frost when it was in flower and there's not a single plum on the tree .
