Warning Lyme Disease

my 9 year old kid has just been diagnosed with lyme disease

she had a bite on her upper arm and it became a large red ring about 2 inch diametre

luckily we had it diagnosed early ,she is on a course of antibiotics and isnt having any other symtoms .doctor said she should be ok but to watch for aching joints head aches ,dizziness,lethargie,and not making sense.

lots of ticks this year. check your pets and kids

I won't even take my dog to one of the local 'dog friendly' parks because the council let the grass grow tall to encourage butterflies, bees, wild flora, as he got a couple of large ticks last year along with the grass seeds in the ears and eyes.

 

Hope she makes a full and swift recovery.

Hate the fuckers. Frontline every month in the summer months.doesnt stop them, but kills them if they bite him and thats one less i need to worry about!

bought a twin pack of tic removers. Fortunaetly they are still unopened and hope it stays that way.

I thought Lyme disease was a US problem. I hope your daughters alright. I've had two of those suckers in me no Lyme yet :huh:

But not everyonr has symtoms
