I almost lost one of my ferrets on sunday because my mk 2 ferret locator would not pick up the signal & my ferret had got himself trapped. in the end i had to get my mate to come and see if he could pick up the signal with his mk 1 locator, and he did :clapper: when I checked my other collar and put the locator beside it ,it said it was 8 foot away.when I spoke to DEBEN to see if they have had any problems with the Mk 2 they said NO. So why have they brought out the Mk3. does anyone out there own a Mk 2 that actually works <_<

Ive been using a mk 2 for ages with no probs at all, as long as i keep the batteries fresh. I work mine often with 2 ferrets with collers on with no probs and when their in the same spot I can tell with the crackle of the box.

I suggest you send it off to Deben and get it checked out as they will service it for you and set it up. Give them a ring!
